a CPA = integrity & ethics

The experience to deliver for you.

Meet Janet Dudding, CPA, public servant, and nominee for Texas House District 14, serving Bryan-College Station and Brazos County.

As a CPA, Janet knows public service begins with integrity, ethics, and accountability. Tax dollars are the public’s dollars, and government should spend them carefully, honestly, and in the public interest.

In Bryan-College Station, Aggie values are more than words on the MSC. They mean excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service — and they are the values Janet will bring to HD14.

Janet is running to deliver honest leadership, strong public schools, academic freedom, greater affordability, and real accountability for the people of Brazos County.

I'm running to Hold Texas politicians accountable!

I’ve been a governmental CPA – a governmental accountant and auditor – for over half my life. Texas, we can do better.

First time I marched since high school marching band was after the 2016 election.

I’ve spent more than half my life as a governmental CPA — a governmental accountant and auditor — following the money, auditing public systems, and making sure taxpayer dollars are used the way they should be. I know Texas can do better, because I know how government works and I know where it fails.

I’m a product of public schools, and so are my daughter and grandchildren. Public education opened doors for my family, and I believe every Texas child deserves the same chance. Texas has more resources than most states, and I know we can do better.

After the 2016 election, I marched for the first time since high school marching band. It took a lot to get a governmental CPA — a professional woman from the Deep South — to take to the streets. But I’ve spent my life fighting “stupid government,” and the government in Texas needs some wising up.

I know how local and state governments work, and I know the growing challenges Texas families face. That’s why I’m running.

My opponent, the chair of the board of trustees of a private school, helped advance Abbott’s voucher scheme. Public schools serve every child, every day, and they do it with far less. Diverting public dollars from public schools to private schools is wrong — and I’m running to stop it.
